Spring has finally sprung, my friends, and as the weather becomes warmer and campus becomes greener, everyone is itching to spend some time in the sun. What better way to celebrate this beautiful season than combining everyone’s two favorite pastimes- eating and enjoying the great outdoors? Grab your friends, grab some grub, and head to the Fly for an unbeatable picnic.

Here are some food essentials that your flawless picnic will need:

Cheese & Crackers

Well, this is a given. No picnic is complete without this dynamic duo. Plus, it’ll make for a Brie-autiful Instagram. (sorry…)

Fruit Salad

While a big ‘ol bag of grapes is perfectly acceptable, a bowl of fresh fruit salad will bring your picnic game to the next level.

Guac

Let’s face it, is there ever an eating situation that shouldn’t involve this heavenly spread? No. Tortilla chips will obviously have to be involved, as well (unless you prefer guac by the spoonful…no judgment).

Bottle of Wine

This isn’t just any picnic; this is the classy, five-star picnic experience, so of course we had to invite our dear friend, wine, to the party. Plus, who can say no to extra health benefits? Drink up, ladies.

Honorable mentions: Pasta salad, baguette, hummus & veggies, chicken or tuna salad, sandwiches, deli meats, cookies
