This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tulane chapter and does not reflect the views of Her Campus.

This week’s Her Campus Tulane Cuties are our lovely contributors- Anna Epstein, Briah Fischer, Brittany Kottler, Candace Chuck, Emily Straus, Rebecca Shinners and Zoë Björnson!

They’re the ones who write and experience all of the content that goes into our articles and blogs every week and make Her Campus Tulane everything that it is.

Anna Epstein is a sophomore Communication and Political Science double major from Charlotte, NC. She writes for the HCT sections on events in NOLA and world news/politics. Anna decided to join the HCT team because she loves to write and wanted to have her voice heard. If she could be any item of clothing, she’d probably be a dress because it is fun and flowy, but also practical and put-together. Many people might not know that she is a dual citizen of the US and Brazil. After graduation, Anna hopes to work for a lobbying firm in DC or write for a publication in New Orleans.

Hey all! I’m Briah Fischer, Her Campus Tulane’s outdoor adventure blogger.
I’m a sophomore Public Health major and Economics minor on the long road to medical school.  I’m a good ol’ Midwestern gal who loves being outside—hiking, camping, running, exploring—I’m game for anything as long as I’m not cooped up inside for too long. I joined the Her Campus Tulane team on a total whim—I’d never written for any sort of publication before, but when Her Campus Tulane offered the opportunity to write a blog about these crazy stories and interests of mine, I jumped at the chance!  I hope readers not only enjoy being along for the ride as I document my escapades (like running 20 miles to celebrate my 20th birthday!), but also go out and foster their own passion for adventure.  See ya out there!

My name is Brittany Kottler and I am a freshman at Tulane. I’m from Chicago (BEST CITY IN THE WORLD) and am majoring in marketing. I want to be in sports marketing, and my absolute dream job would be to work in marketing for the Chicago Blackhawks.
I am absolutely obsessed with hockey and follow every Blackhawks game religiously. I joined the HCT Team because I have always loved to write, and I have always wanted to have my own column where I can write and blog about whatever I want. Being the pop culture writer is the perfect job for me because I can combine my passion for writing with my fascination for pop culture and celebrities. As for personal things, such as my most embarrassing moment, I would have to say it happened my freshman year of high school. I’m a ballerina, always have been, and to be in my high school’s dance show as a freshman, you had to be in “Freshman Dance.” I’ll let you all imagine what it was like to see me, a gawky ballerina, doing hip-hop in front of my whole high school. As for any type of clothing I could be, I would one hundred percent be a shirt. I love shirts because there are so many different kinds, and no matter what, you can always find that right shirt for your mood.
Candace Chuck is a freshman from Seattle, majoring in International Relations. In the future she hopes to do something she loves. She is the food blogger for Her Campus Tulane. She joined Her Campus Tulane because she loves writing and loves writing about food even more! Her favorite ice cream is half-baked frozen yogurt by Ben and Jerry’s. If Candace were an article of clothing “I would be a bright pink wig because I’m mostly unnecessary but lots of fun and always a mood booster!”

My name is Emily Straus and I write about celebrity trends for Her Campus Tulane. I am a freshman at Tulane and am originally from Larchmont, New York.
Larchmont sits about thirty minutes outside New York City, which afforded me the opportunity to be exposed to a culturally rich and diverse area.  My fascination with New York’s fast pace society along with my fondness for literature and writing led me to apply for a spot on the Her Campus Tulane team.  As far as my major, I am, as most freshmen are, still undecided.  However, some of the options I am considering are Sociology, Communications, and French. I have always had an appreciation for the French language.  I suppose that, if I had to be a piece of clothing, I would be a pair of French ballet flats.  These shoes are chic, but also comfortable, which is how I always attempt to dress.  An embarrassing story could be attributed to a pair of ballet flats I was wearing once.  Unfortunately, such flat shoes have soles that lack traction.  Imagine me trying to walk down a steep hill in ballet flats.  I consequently landed on the ground.  So much for looking sophisticated!

Rebecca Shinners is a Freshman, Class of 2014!, majoring in Political Science, and also wants to minor or double major in studio art. Rebecca is from Jericho, NY and is a photo blogger for Her Campus Tulane. “I’m the photo blogger! I get to show you all my everyday life through photography. Each weak I submit at least one photo from something interesting on campus or a project I’m working on in my film photography class. I also take pictures for different articles on the site. I’m always taking pictures anyway and love to share them with people so this job is perfect for me!” If Rebecca were an item of clothing she would “According to a few friends of mine I’d be a headband since I’m always wearing one.”In addition to photography, Rebecca also loves to paint and draw. Her favorite color is greenand she has a twin brother who also goes to Tulane.

Zoë Björnson is a freshman from Palo Alto, CA. Although she is currently undecided in her major and minor she works hard as a photographer for Her Campus Tulane. She joined the Her Campus Tulane team because “I really wanted to get my photography out there and have an additional outlet for me to be able to take pictures.”In addition to photography, she also writes the weekly”Campus Celebrity” article. If Zoëwere an article of clothing she would be “Shoes. I have too many shoes to count and believe that the shows make or break the entire outfit.” A fun fact about Zoë: “My name means “life” in Greek and at my dad’s wedding, I was a flower girl, and I had to walk up and down the isle twice because apparently I didn’t put enough flowers down the first time.”

Make sure you read their articles, blogs, etc. and experience everything that these beautiful unique minds have to offer!
