Enter Stage: The Trendy Pumpkin

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tulane chapter.

Old-school pumpkin carving seems to be a thing of the past. Enter the era of the trendy pumpkin.

Whether it’s metallic paint or bright chevron, girls finally have the chance to go DIY crazy during their favorite holiday season. Some of the perks: less clean up and more color! This is especially perfect for college ladies looking to get a little creative without the time and mess commitment (although paint might take a little effort for the less skilled, like me).

Check out these chic ways to celebrate Halloween sans scary faces and pumpkin seeds!

Glitter and Polka-Dots

For a simple and classic look, go for the white and gold. All you need is a quick trip to Michael’s and a Hocus Pocus rerun for entertainment.
