The Current Trend: Peter Pilotto for Target

Nothing gets me out of bed on a Sunday morning.  Nothing, that is, except for fashion.  This is why I found myself awake before the ungodly hour of 9:30 AM this past weekend.  Peter Pilotto for Target debuted on February 9th with a vast collection of printed designs.  Waking up early to snag these key pieces was well worth it.

The Peter Pilotto brand is comprised of two men, Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos.  Based out of London, dresses from the line generally run in the thousands.  The collaboration with Target, however, will only set you back around $30 per piece.

Peter Pilotto is known for quirky prints and well-cut clothing.  I was delighted to find that this stereotype remained true even when made for Target stores.  I bought four different tops, from a cotton long sleeve to a silk t-shirt to a button down with lace details.  It was tough to choose from the selection that also includes bathing suits, sneakers, tote bags, and more.

I highly suggest making a stop at your nearest Target in the future.  Or, simply buy the collection from the comfort of your couch on target.com as well as net-a-porter.com.  Just don’t wait too long or you might miss out!
