Best Websites for Lazy and Thoughtful Shoppers

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Tulane chapter.

Halloween is over and it’s time for Thanks- HOLIDAY SHOPPING. The retail world completely ignores everyone’s favorite food feast and moves right along to the money maker. Here is a short list of my favorite websites for the most thoughtful (and easiest) holiday gifts. Keep them bookmarked for that panicked moment on December 22nd when you’re in desperate need of a gift and $15 next day delivery charge seems entirely reasonable.

  • Catstudio: This company makes the most amazing houseware items that even the college student in your life will love. The unique items in their geography collection make the most beautiful collectibles that any person on your shopping list will cherish. With a click of a button, what could be easier?
  • Skymall: Okay, I know it’s weird, but I’m serious. Everyone’s favorite passtime on a long flight is purusing Skymall and laughing at the ridiculous items. The best gifts are the ones the people will always remember when they got them and who it’s from. And plus, what doesn’t say I love you like a dog toaster?
  • Etsy:  For those of you that don’t know about Etsy (where have you been?!) it is a compliation of all individual vendors that make the best gifts. You can get anything on here and most of it can be personalized. Any gift from here says you went out to a craft fair and found the perfect present, but really you still found the perfect gift… while watching Netflix.
