This past week seemed to be jam-packed with loads of Bachelorette drama! There were all kinds of ups and downs, ranging from wedding dates, to break-ups, to…potential new loves? If you’re a follower of this popular series, you are not going to believe all of this!
This past season’s most worshipped couple, bachelorette Emily Maynard and her fiancée Jef Holm may have called it quits. Rumors have it that despite this couples constant twitter and instagram adorations targeted towards one another, it was all a hoax. Seemingly, bachelorette Emily was paying her “fiancée” off to pretend that they were together after the show ended. This was reportedly due to Emily’s seven-year old daughter, Ricki. Apparently she had fallen in love with her potential new father and Emily did not want to break her heart. These two sure did put on a good front though; I was fooled! Speculations about their break up have stemmed from a few different sources:
1. Holm has recently changed his relationship status on Facebook from “Engaged,” to “Single.” Ouch!
2. Both Holm and Emily deleted their Twitter profile pics that were previously of the two together. Jef’s changed to a solo shot, Emily’s to one of her and Ricki.
3. Maynard has recently instagrammed a photo of the quote, “She is clothed with strength and dignity and laughs without fear of the future,” while Jef tweeted, “Can’t wait to hang with my mom & sisters in AZ for the next few days…” Also, he was documented re-tweeting, “#God has a way to heal your sorrow. God has a way to touch your tomorrow. Trust him.”

On a brighter note in Bachelorette news, the previous season’s couple, bachelorette Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum, have now set a date to be married! There was no real shock when the bachelorette chose JP at the season finale since their chemistry was consistent throughout their entire journey. These two are the only couple still together from the past six seasons as a result of the hit series. They have now been engaged for a year and a half, and plan to tie the knot in December!
Lastly, in this weeks Bachelorette filled excitement, it is rumored that host of this television series, Chris Harrison, was spotted out on a date with none other than Justin Beibers’ mom…random! Whether or not these two hit it off is still unknown.
