LOVE: Slackers
Â
There is always that one person you know, whether in class, or just out and about, that slacks off, and you just have to love them. Whenever things in your life are going astray, you can always look to them for cheer because they have it worse than you due to their procrastination and lack of motivation. Â
Â
These slackers make our self-image look so great that we can’t help but love them. Let’s say we get a bad grade on a test, the slacker got a worse grade so, hooray!, Our grades seem like an A in Astrophysics! We look like crap today because we were up late studying and didn’t get laundry done. Well, they look even worse AND they smell because they were up late “liking-a-little” and sporcling.
Â
Not only do we love slackers, but we also love the act of slacking. Honestly, we can sit around all day stressing over work or something equally as dull, or, we can Stumble around the web, troll Rebecca Black videos, and play some Xbox.Â
I think we all know which of those choices ideas we’d all go with. And no, we are not kidding about Ms. Black. (Tyler is a big fan)
Â
Basically, there is not one aspect of slackers or slacking that we don’t love. The next time you want to give that smelly hippy slacker in your art class an attitude, think about all the good they really do for you, and maybe, just maybe, tell them you love them.*
Â
*CAUTION: While it is okay to express verbal love for the good they do, please refrain from hugging them. They probably haven’t showered in a week.
