Music has the power to transform a bad day into a great day, and a good day into an even better day. Therefore, as a music lover, there is truly nothing more satisfying than discovering an artist or band that you can listen to over and over again. With that, here’s a collection of artists, both new and old, whose music you need in your life.

1. Wild Child

Looking for a nice mood-boost? Wild Child has got you covered. This indie-pop duo very well may be the happiest pair on the planet. Their music exudes such positive vibes that it is 100% impossible to be in a bad mood while listening. If you’re a fan of upbeat, acoustic, genuine music, you’ll love Wild Child.

Recommended songs:

  • Crazy Bird

  • Silly Things
  • That’s What She Say

2. Breakbot

This french producer and DJ creates feel-good music that has a funky-disco sound similar to Daft Punk. His hit Baby I’m Yours (one of my all time favorites) was a clear inspiration for Bruno Mars’s Treasure, as their choruses possess striking similarities. His music videos are fantastic and have been nominated for several awards, so make sure to check those out as well.

Recommended songs:

  • Baby I’m Yours (feat. Irfane)

  • Fantasy (feat. Ruckazoid)
  • Break of Dawn

3. Tom Misch

It’s difficult to find a genre to describe this 19 year-old producer’s music, and to me, that’s a great thing. Although I was immediately attracted to his instrumental jazzy tunes (that are perfect for studying, by the way), I was thrilled to discover that his music ranges from smooth electronic, to mellow hip-hop and beautiful duets.

Recommended songs:

  • The Journey

  • Follow (feat. Laura Misch)
  • Got It Going On

4. Flight Facilities

This Australian electronic duo started mixing other artists’ songs in 2009 and came out with their first original album in 2010. Crave You is one of those songs you’ll be able to listen to over and over again because of its catchy upbeat melody.

Recommended songs:

  • Crave You (feat. Giselle)

  • Foreign Language (feat. Jess)
  • Stand Still (feat. Micky Green)
