Okay, so we all know and love Talenti–that light gelato that basically has the consistency of soft serve and an amazing flavor variety. It also has very few ingredients and comes in a plastic (not cardboard) container so you can’t help but feel somewhat dignified when you’re eating it. (Fun Fact: gelato contains less air than ice cream, which is why the flavor is more intense). Well, besides for the super tasty contents, the containers have sweeped the nation for neat freaks and ice cream lovers alike.
I thought it was an isolated incident of weirdness when my dad insisted on hoarding Talenti containers. Then, I saw my friend’s mom using it as a salt jar, a professor using it for paperclips and my housemates using it as a water glass to name a few. Seriously, you’ll notice them everywhere. I have since stopped giving my dad a hard time and turned to #TeamTalentiContainer.
Here are some of its innovative uses for Talenti Containers:
1. Q-Tip holder
(or makeup, cotton swabs, toothbrushes)
2. Fruit Parfaits to-go
Super convenient because you can recycle the container when you’re done, or you can keep it and reuse!
3. Water glass
It has a screw-on top, which is nice because you don’t have to worry about dust and other things falling into your water. Plus, a pint is a surprisingly great size for a water cup.
4. Food storage
Also good for spices, herbs, fruit, rice, leftovers and basically everything else.
6. Travel Toiletries kit
7. Pet food scooper
8. Art supplies container
I mean, just look at how perfectly those crayons fit in there.
9. Planters
It’s extra cool because the containers are clear, so sometimes you can see the roots of your seedlings when they sprout
10. Office Supplies organizer
Especially perfect for paperclips.
11. Piggy Bank
12. Tea Bag or Coffee Grounds holder
Peace, love & Talenti [containers].
