The Stages of Surviving the Last Weeks of the Semester

You might come out alive and you might not, but just remember, winter break is right around the corner!

1. Shedding a tear when you realize you actually have finals.

2. Deciding not to study because you’ve always been a risk-taker.

3. Continuing to not open a book as finals get closer because you still don’t care that much.

4. Getting pissed at that one friend who actually knows their sh*t.

5. Finally getting your butt down to Tisch and becoming super motivated.

6. …But leaving 5 minutes in because seeing stressed people stresses you out.

7. Dancing to holiday music with your friends as a study break.

8. Imagining your professor saying this:

9. Giving up and ordering food at late hours of the night with your roommate.

10. Crying/dying because finals are in less than 24 hours.

11. Sending a quick prayer to the heavens on the day of your exams.

12. Going into the final accepting the fact that you’ll probably fail.

13. Coming out of your exam feeling like a champ (even if you only answered half of the questions).
