Every fall, with a flurry of rustling leaves and swirling breezes, the new school season rushes in. I think all of us can agree that autumn comes with a lot of mixed emotions, whether they are excitement or nerves. As we’re still organizing our schedules and extracirriculars, and meeting new friends, it’s hard to think about how to do our beauty routine.
Here is a fast (it’s under 5 minutes!) and simple makeup routine for your busy school days.
Follow these steps, using the products in the chart above, and your look will be foolproof!
1. Using your BB cream of choice (I love the Bobbi Brown BB Cream, as shown), apply the product all of your face with your hands. Blend into your face, and down your neck as if it were a moisturizer. If you haven’t heard of this awesome product yet, it provides a multitude of benefits (from SPF to anti-aging properties) on top of coverage for any blemishes or redness on your face.
2. Then, taking a fluffy brush, apply a mixture of the blush and bronzer across the temples of your forehead, across your cheekbones, and near your jawline for a beautiful glow. This product looks great used separately as a blush and bronzer, and mixed together.
3. Smudge a kohl liner across your upper and lower lash lines. Using your tool of choice (the smudger on the back of the eyeliner, a q-tip or a fine tipped brush), smudge out the eyeliner so it looks faded and more natural. You can even place eyeliner into the outer crease of your eye lid for more drama and definition. Remember to blend, blend, blend to achieve a natural look.
4. Finish off your look with a tinted lip balm of your choice. Remember to pack this product with you as you rush off to class so you can reapply throughout the day!
