What is Blackout and why is it so cool?
Blackout is Tufts’ only all-male step team, a dynamic and innovative group of award-winning steppers who operate under the mission of “One Sight, One Sound.” This means that we’re more than just a step team, and we’re more than just a brotherhood. We have a unique look and sound that strikes a balance between our individual, high-energy expression and the cultural rhythmic patterns that originate from Africa and the African-American community. Our captivating presence on stage is unlike that of any other dance troupe at Tufts. Be on the lookout for our next show.
