Name: Michael Goldstein
So we heard you are abroad! Where are you studying now? What is the best part do far?
Yup. Â I’m in the CIEE Diplomacy and Policy Studies program in Amman so basically I’m taking some IR classes and Arabic. So far the food and the people are the best parts. The falafel here is awesome.
What activities do you do around campus? Are you particularly passionate about anything?
I play rugby and I’m super passionate about it despite only learning how to play in college. Besides that I really enjoy going to the gym and staying fit.
What is your favorite thing about Tufts? Why?
I think the people are the best part of Tufts.  It really is a campus made up of a lot of nice people.  We get a bad rap for “tufts goggles” and all that, but there are some really good looking Jumbos out there.
We have to ask, Dewick or Carmicheal?
Neither. Â I love cooking for myself and I think my food tastes pretty good too. But stir fry night at Carm is bomb.
What is your ideal study spot?
I mostly study and do work in my room (I get too distracted in the library) but I can really appreciate a nice day on the lawn.
Anything cool you have found around Boston?
I don’t get into Boston as much as I should, but I think the Aquarium might be one of the coolest places to check out some feeesh.
If you could have dinner with three people who would they be?
Alexander the Great, Abraham Lincoln, Winston Churchill.
Do you have any hobbies? What do you do in your downtime?
Besides going to the gym a lot and staying fit, I play my fair share of video games as well. Â Shout-out to Dmac for being so easy to beat at FIFA.
Any words of wisdom for the newer (or soon to be) Jumbos?
I would probably tell them that Pizza Days is actually really gross, and that you should do your best to be as outgoing as possible.
