With flawless weather and stress free days, Spring Break is the perfect time to try new things and let loose with your friends. Whether you are going to Miami with your besties, traveling around the Caribbean with family or just staying at home, Spring Break is the time to make unforgettable memories with your loved ones. But with all the excitement it is easy to throw your good judgment out the window and succumb to your party-animal desires. Check out these Do’s and Don’t of Spring Break to make sure your vacation from the cold is stress free yet amazing:

DO: Have a spring break fling. Finding someone new can be refreshing and good way to forget about your daunting midterms that you just took.

DON’T: Hook up with you ex. Only music makes for good remixes, not ex-boyfriends.

DO: Sleep in! Try to catch up on the sleep you lost cramming for your midterms

DON’T:  Waste the entire day sleeping and lazing around. Spring Break is short and you want to have some worthwhile stories to tell your college friends.

DO: Try new exotic fruity drinks (alcohol-free if you are under 21).

DON’T: Get too drunk that you can’t remember the events that took place the night prior. Black-out nights lead to haunting, hazy memories – there’s no need for that stress while you are on vacation.

DO: Spend some time with family. As collegiettes, we are away from our family most of the year. They miss you! And, even if you think you don’t, you miss them too!

DON’T: Jam-pack your week with events leaving you no time to grab a meal with your family.

DO: Try new things. Be adventurous, whether it’s swimming with dolphins or just trying the new summer slurpee at Wendy’s.

DON’T: Stay within your comfort zone. Keeping safety in mind, vacation is the perfect time try something you wouldn’t have gotten the chance to do otherwise.

Keep these tips in mind and have fun on Spring Break!
