April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month, something that has a different meaning for each and every one of us. For some, it is recognizing how we can better represent survivors; for others, it is determining how to empower ourselves. Even now, as many of our interactions go digital and the pandemic has taken much of our world out of our own control, sexual assault and harrassment remain prevalent in communities worldwide.
Her Campus @ Tufts will be publishing an article every week of the month of April to recognize Sexual Assault Awareness Month, a collection of personal stories, event features, and celebrations of strong women.
