#1 Best Dressed

Jessica Chastain looked stunning in her draping Michael Kors dress. The mint green color was refreshing after the onslaught of red-hued gowns (though she probably stays far away from those).  The dresses diving neckline and fluttering bodice nicked Chastain in all the right places.

#2 Best Trendy Meets Classic

Kate Hudson rocked a trendy Alexander McQueen dress in a classic silhouette that could survive the decades. She stuck to a classic black color with gold ornamentation that mimicked the costume jewelry fad. Too faddy; I don’t think so. This piece is a flawless combination of trends interwoven with a timeless silhouette and color. It was a perfectly flattering frock for Hudson’s petite figure.

#3 Best Accessories

Julianne Moore donned a serpentine wrap bracelet and stunning chandelier earrings that stood out amongst the red carpet pack – especially among those her age (she is 52!! Can you believe it? We can’t…).

#4 Best Hair

The side-swept do literally swept the red carpet this year, but not fear our favorite bold redhead, Adele, broke the fad with a classic bouffant up do.

#5 Best Silhouette

Anne Hathaway stunning figure filled in a chic Chanel frock to complete a look that we were all gushing over.  The dress may have been a simple shade, but the ornate fabric (not to mention Anne’s fit figure) made this outfit one of our favorites.

#6 Best Male Ensemble

We have to hand it to the guys on the red carpet- they are not dealing with as many options as the ladies. They may not have as many colors, fabrics, pleats, and designers to scrutinize over yet Ben Affleck still arrived dressed to the T in a bowtie and paneled tuxedo by Gucci.

#7 Best Princess Ball Gown

Zooey Deschanel looked fit for royalty in her Oscar de la Renta ball gown. Deschanel paired the over-the-top gown perfectly with simple pearl accessories and a classic up-do.  The rich red hue of the dress complimented her porcelain skin and piercing blue eyes perfectly leaving us confident that she is sure to attract a suitable Pricne Charming.

#8 Best Trendy Outfit

Zosia Mamet arrived in a dress showing off three of this season’s big trends: paneling, leather, and some serious geometric shapes. Her dress, reminiscent of Lady Gaga and the late Michael Jackson, was fit for rock star royalty and we were happy to see her strutting in it down the red carpet- I mean she is in our new favorite comedy.

#9 Best Classic Hollywood

Amanda Seyfriend effortlessly glowed in a Givenchy Haute Couture gown. The tight fit and draping material could have turned this dress into a red carpet disaster, yet Seyfriend looked dazzling in the garment. Her casual loose curls and minimal jewelry make this look one to envy.

#10 Most Glamorous

Emily Blunt was bedazzled and gemmed like a Hollywood star. Her golden gown was composed of an anything-but-boring ornate material and her hair was slicked back into a flattering up-do. Her jewelry added to her glamorous look with costume-like oversized jewel earrings and a matching bracelet.
