Anna’s Taqueria is a unique, locally owned, Mexican restaurant with six locations throughout the Boston area. They pride themselves on keeping their menu simple, cooking everything in house, and using fresh ingredients for all of their dishes With one located on Elm Street in the heart of Davis square it is a spot frequented by Tufts students.

Last weekend our Tufts HerCampus team was invited to dine at Anna’s and got a feast that was beyond what we could have imagined. With guac, tacos, burritos and more we left deliciously full. We started with fresh chips, salsa, & guacamole. Then moved on to Tacos Al Pastor, Steak tacos, Lengua (beef tongue) tacos, Carnitas tacos and chicken ranchero tacos. A few of us were brave enough to try the beef tongue, but generally stuck with and loved the steak and chicken ranchero tacos. Thinking we couldn’t eat another bite we moved on to Grilled vegetable quesadilla and burritos galore all with assorted beans and toppings including pinto and black beans, guacamole, sour cream and salsa.

The incredibly nice staff made us feel perfectly at home, filling and refilling our glasses with horchata and lemonade. To say the least, we were very impressed by our meal. Easy for grab and go or pleasant for a more lavish dining experience, it is the perfect place for any college collegiette to escape the dining hall.
