It’s getting to be spring here in Boston, which means we’re all looking for reasons to get outside and explore the city! Here are five fun activities that will keep you entertained and enjoying the great New England spring weather.

1. Go to a Red Sox game!

Red Sox games bring together the best baseball fans in the country to the famous Fenway Park! Red Sox games are more than just sporting events – they have great music, food, and altogether an exciting vibe. Plus, there’s nothing like cheering for the winning team!

2. Eat in the North End!

Home to the city’s most coveted Italian food, the North End is more than just a collection of restaurants. Enjoy the full experience by getting the best pizza around, finding a pastry for dessert, and walking around the beautiful neighborhood!

3. Shop on Newbury Street!

Boston’s Back Bay has every store you could ask for and more – take a walk all the way down Newbury Street and treat yourself while enjoying the spring weather!

4. Kayak on the Charles River!

There’s nothing like taking out a canoe or kayak on a beautiful day! Enjoy the Charles and the sights of Boston while having a great time with friends – AND getting in some exercise, while you’re at it!

5. Check out the SoWa Open Market!

The SoWa Open Market takes place every Sunday in Boston’s Art and Design District beginning May 5th (and going all the way through October!) Take an excursion to discover what local artists have to offer, while enjoying music and food during your time there.
