How did you initially come up with the idea for this dodgeball tournament?
My dad has always run some kind of holiday toy drive and almost every year since about 5th grade has let me help out. This year I knew I wasn’t going to be able to help out, so I thought I would do a similar thing here.
Where are the proceeds going?
After the event, as a team, we went shopping for toys. We raised nearly 800 dollars so that we can gather quite a bit of toys. We are working with McCarter and English who has a local group already set up so we will donate the toys underprivileged children through the attorneys organization.
What other activities do you participate in at Trinity?
I am on the Lacrosse Team here at Trinity
Can we look forward to some more dodgeball tournaments in the future?
Absolutely, I hope to run the tournament every holiday as long as I am here at Trinity. Hopefully it’s bigger next year and more teams come out to play.
