How To: Quick Smokey Eye for the Night!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Trinity chapter.

Rocking a dark eye is a great way to add drama for a night out, but the look itself is not the easiest to create. With these quick and easy steps, you’ll be ready to hit the town in no time!
1.      Sweep a dark shadow over your entire lid with a domed brush.
2.      To add depth and intensity, put a darker color in your crease to define it.
3.      Press an angled brush with a dark shadow or liner onto your top lashes, moving it laterally. This will add density to your lashes.
4.      Staying close to the lower lash line, smudge shadow beneath your eyes. Make sure the line is very fine so you don’t look like a raccoon.
5.      Add a highlight shade to your brow bones and inner corners to brighten them.
6.      Finish with a couple coats of black mascara
To finish the rest of your face, add a bit of bronzer for dimension on your face. Color is very important so you don’t look like a corpse! Swipe on some gloss and a smile and you’re good to go!
