Cold Weather Hat Roundup

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Trinity chapter.

Winter weather is upon us (sigh), which means it’s really time to break out the heavy-duty clothing! Although many of us may be sad to see our sandals and shorts get packed away in the depths of our closets, it’s time to invest in some new staple items for the long winter season. Here are some of our favorite picks for the upcoming months:

Beanies:

Camo print and fur beanies are the perfect way to make a statement without going over the top. But then again, who doesn’t love jeweled accents? Get online and snag this adorable powder blue beanie complete with the perfect amount of sparkle (plus it’s only $8.90)!

Animal-Inspired Beanies:

Add some life to drab winter outfits by sporting an animal beanie like this little panda (he’s just too cute!) Also, if the animal face is a little too real for you, try these animal-inspired beanies with either fur pom ears and jewels or pointed cat ears. And if you’re looking for just one more reason to confirm your purchase: Cara Delevigne was seen in a hat like the cat-eared black one pictured above, just saying.

And if beanies just aren’t your thing….

Wide-Brimmed Hats:

If beanies just don’t seem to flatter your face, we recommend trying a wide-brim hat this winter. This leopard print hat will protect your face from the falling snow, while adding the perfect amount of style to any outfit. We’re also huge fans of the equestrian style of this hat from ModCloth! Lastly, this super flimsy (and quite comfy looking) burnt orange hat is just $35 – the perfect price for a staple item that will get you through the long winter.
