What events are Trinity competing in this weekend at the Head of the Charles?

How did you get involved with rowing?

I started rowing in eighth grade for a club team in Westchester County. My dad rowed in college and after trying out many sports when I was younger, he finally convinced me to test out rowing and I fell in love with the sport.

What is your favorite memory from your time on the team?

I can’t say that I have a single favorite memory from my time on the team, there are just too many to choose from. However, if I had to choose one of my top memories, it would be our Spring break trips down to Gainesville, GA.

What are you hoping to accomplish this year as a team?

While we are an extremely small team, our hopes for this year are no less than previous years. Our goal is to compete at and win the NCAA Championships in Sacramento, California at the end of the spring season.

What do you think is the best part of rowing?

Rowing, while it takes lots of dedication and hard work, is a really fun sport. I would say the best part of rowing is getting the opportunity to race fast with friends.
