Summer Robinson has the dish on what you should eat at the all you can eat!

Ok, so you got the overpriced meal plan. You walk in and look around to see what you should eat. What do you see? If its breakfast you will see waffle, bacon, sausage, hash browns and maybe some other fattening breakfast food. Lunch and dinner will offer fries, burgers, cheese steaks and maybe some fattening desert on the side. While it may seem like that’s all there is, I promise its not.

The salad bar: Don’t take this for granted. Filled with fresh lettuce, spinach, mixed greens, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, tomatoes and more, you can make the salad of all salads with the fixing at this salad bar. Wanna make your salad even better? Go visit the grill (yeah the one with the burgers) and ask them for a piece of grilled chicken, I swear they have it!

Eggs:
Ever heard of breakfast for dinner? Eggs are your new best friend in beating the freshman 15! Did you happen to eat a huge order of wings and a big glass of beer over at Batemans for lunch? That’s ok. Order two whole eggs, four egg whites and throw in some veggies, and you now have a super nutritional meal for dinner.

Chicken sandwiches: Can’t give up the bread? That’s ok. You can get the grilled chicken thrown on a bun, with some lettuce, tomatoes and onion just as easy on the salad. Best part? It’s still good for you!

Fruit and yogurt: Remember, if all else fails, the fruit and yogurt is always a win. The best way to pick is to say to yourself “Is it raw? Think fresh vegetables and fruit. “Is there ea ton of grease?” This means keep away from the bacon. Simple common sense rules can turn the disaster that is the all you can eat into a much safer way to eat.
