Hey ladies! The holidays can be a stressful time while trying to balance time between family, relationships, and the end of the semester. Of course holiday shopping is on your mind too. To help make it a little easier for you to figure out what to get for everyone on your list, I have come up with some ideas to help get your creative ideas flowing for holiday gifts.
What to buy for your…BOYFRIEND!
What you might get for your boyfriend depends on how long you have been dating. If you haven’t been together for too long, you might not want to go for an expensive gift such as a watch or tickets to a sporting event. You might want to get him something simple, but very sweet. Suede moccasins, pajama pants, or a winter hat and gloves are a good idea, especially if they are soft and comfortable. If you have been dating longer, you might want to get him a nice-smelling cologne, his favorite team or player’s jersey, or his favorite TV show on DVD. If you have the time, you could also make your boyfriend something to go with your purchased gift. Try making him a photo album of the two of you, or if you have keepsakes from things you have done together (like going to the movies, etc) put those together in something for him. You don’t have to be incredibly creative, but something that comes from the heart that you put effort into will be much appreciated by your man.
What to buy for your…DAD!
Dads can be hard to shop for when it comes to a holiday gift. If he is a golfer, consider getting him a nice polo or his favorite kind of golf balls. If your dad dresses up for work you could get him a new dress shirt and a tie to match. If you remember your dad mentioning a book or a specific author that he likes to read, consider buying him that. You could even get dad some Towson gear. He is probably proud of his little girl, so he could use some Towson swag to show off. Dad might also appreciate something handmade, such as something he could take to the office with him to look at while you are away at school.

You could also get some TU gear for mom. Some other ideas are personalized jewelry from somewhere like Things Remembered. If your mom likes being pampered, consider getting her a gift card to a spa where she could get a manicure or a massage. Something soft like bedroom slippers, a robe and bubble bath to use at home are also sweet gifts to give mom.

For your brother, his gift might also depend on whether he is younger or older. He most likely appreciates your sense of fashion, so you could get him some nice clothes to wear at school or when he goes out. You could also get him cologne, or a jersey, hat, or t-shirt for his favorite sport team. Your brother might also like an iTunes gift card or a good book to read during the winter. What to buy for your…SISTER!
Your sister might appreciate a personalized bracelet, necklace, earrings, or photograph frame. Also, depending on how old she is, you could get her some PINK apparel from Victoria’s Secret. She might also like a make-up palate, perfume, or some cute new clothes. Another idea is to get her a gift set from Bath and Body Works if she has a favorite scent from there.
