Music Monday: September 30

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Towson chapter.

This is the last Monday of September as October quickly approaches, so does Homecoming! On Sunday, AWOLNATION and twenty one pilots will be performing for our very own Homecoming concert in the SECU Arena! Therefore, this last music monday of September is dedicated to them. Pop this playlist on during the week to familiarize yourself with the songs, or before the concert with friends!

“Sail” by AWOLNATION may be one of their most played songs on their radio, but it isn’t all the band brings to the table.

“Kill Your Heros” by AWOLNATION is one of my favorite songs by the band.

Go ahead and dance around your room to “Not Your Fault” by AWOLNATION, everyone else will be too.

“Guilty Filthy Soul” by AWOLNATION has the music to bounce around to.

“Wake Up” by AWOLNATION is different, but will be a show to watch live.

“Holding Onto You” by twenty one pilots is one of their most popular songs.

“Car Radio” by twenty one pilots has the rhythm to sway to, especially live.

“Guns for Hands” by twenty one pilots has the musical power to cause a crowd a dance.

“Can’t Help Falling in Love” a cover of Elvis’ song by the lead singer of twenty one pilots.

The electronic introduction of “Migraine” will be a spectacle by twenty one pilots.

Two great alternative bands will be ready for a Towson performance Sunday, and we can’t wait to have them! Make sure to check out some of their music before the concert, and it serves as great background music too. Use this playlist as a guideline, or look up other songs too!
