Her Campus Towson (HCTU): What have you been involved with on campus?

Melissa Brown (MB): “I’m currently involed in Her Campus and I was involved with TigerTHON.”

HCTU: What does leadership mean to you?

MB: “For me, leadership is important because you get to put yourself out there and get involved and people look up to you. You can help make a change in your community through leadership.”

HCTU: What is one of your biggest life goals?

MB: “One of my biggest goals is to work overseas or in Washington, D.C. as a journalist or for the government.”

HCTU: What’s one unique thing about you?

MB: “I am a figure skater and I love football.”

Erin is a Mass Communications student at Towson University studying Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations. She is the Editor-In-Chief, Campus Correspondent and President of Her Campus Towson. Erin has been writing for Her Campus Towson since fall 2011 and worked as an intern for Sister 2 Sister Magazine in summer 2013. She competed in the 2012 Miss Maryland USA pageant and has since done some print modeling as a hobby.
