Local Finds: Uncle Wiggly’s Ice Cream & Deli Sandwiches

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Towson chapter.

Although I’ve been going to Towson for over two and a half years now, I have never been too adventurous in terms of trying out different local places and seeing what’s in the Towson area.  So this week, my sister (and Campus Cutie editor) Caitlin, our Editor-In-Chief Ali, and I went on a little adventure to see what was around.  Our adventure paid off!  We found the cutest little mom-and-pop ice cream and sub place called “Uncle Wiggly’s” just a couple miles up the street on York Road.  If the huddle of local high school kids wasn’t a big enough sign of popularity, all of the delicious flavors certainly were! In addition to many well known flavors, there were also loads of unique flavors that were homemade right on site.  We tried the pumpkin, caramel and pretzel, and mocha almond fudge flavors…. DELICIOUS!

Caramel and Pretzel, YUM!
