Halloween Treats

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Towson chapter.

Happy Halloween!

I don’t know if anyone else’s family did this growing up, but one way that my family used to celebrate the holiday was by making some yummy themed treats!

Here are some spooky, inexpensive snack ideas to help you celebrate this Halloween!

1. Rice Krispie Treat Pumpkins

How cute are these?! If you love Rice Krispie Treats as much as I do, these are great! They’re super easy to make and it’s something fun to do with your roommates/friends/SO. The recipe can be found here.

2. Pumpkin Patch Dirt Cups

Yum! Who remembers eating these in elementary school? Again, it’s super easy to put together and a yummy treat for Halloween night! The recipe can be found here.

3. Halloween Jalapeño Mummies

Ahhh!!! These are so cute!! For anyone who likes food with a kick, these are great! The recipe can be found here

4. Mummy Dogs

My mom used to make something very similar to this every Halloween for dinner before we went out trick-or-treating! They’re a lot like corn dogs––minus the corn bread and add the spooky factor. The recipe can be found here.

This is just a few ideas to help you get inspired! All of them were found through Pinterest. Definitely go check it out!

Have fun!
