Going Downtown?
International Business junior Krista Grant and Civil Engineering junior Erma Halilovic are ready to go out for a night Downtown after finishing midterms. They deserve a night to just let loose! With two different types of styles, both equally cute, they share with us their choice of apparel.
Grant chose to go with a black maxi dress that she purchased from Target, a jean jacket shirt that she used as a cover up from Abercrombie, a head scarf from Austria and a pair of her reliable Dulce Vita shoes. Her favorite stores to shop at are Forever 21, random thrift shops and Marshalls. “I love Marshall’s, it’s the best.” Staying comfortable is important, but so is looking cute. Her style matches that perfectly. “I’d say my style is an urban bohemian,” Grant said.
Halilovic likes to keep her outfits simple and clean while accessorizing them with wild pieces. She doesn’t have any specific stores she shops at, but anywhere she finds anything cute is where she will be. Here she chose to go with a skirt from Forever 21, a cover up she purchased from a thrift store and a pair of Steve Madden shoes. The shirt was a DIY project she did on her spare time. “You don’t want to be too dressy for Downtown,” Halilovic said. “You want to still be comfortable. It really is about how you’re feeling that night.”
