Products to Bring Your Bath from Eh to Ooh!

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Texas chapter.

I love taking bubble baths to unwind and tune out the world; it’s one of the few places where I can shut out the entire world. I wrote a post last year with my favorite bath-taking tips, but now I’d like to share some of my favorite bath products!

Body Scrubs

Dove Body Polish, $5.99

This product changed my leg shaving game this summer; my legs were a lot softer and I was able to get a closer shave when I would exfoliate beforehand, leading me to shave my legs only every day instead of every hour (just kidding, sort of).

Kopari Coconut Crush Scrub, $39.00

Okay, yes this is a crazy price… I encourage you to look around on eBay and for sample sizes before trying this, but this product is worth EVERY penny if you’re into Coconut. My skin always feels incredible after I use this, fresh and moisturized. Of course, this is one of those products I save for special occasions because of the price.

Coconut Miracle Oil Body Scrub, $6.99

I’m definitely partial to coconut scents, but I wanted to share the OGX brand because it’s organic and affordable! This coconut miracle oil scent comes in shampoo, conditioner, dry shampoo, and more and I always receive compliments on it!

Bath Bombs

Lush Geode Bath Bomb $6.45

Obviously, this Geode bath bomb provides a stunning display as it dissolves in the water, filling the tub with pink and purple sparkles. The great thing about bath bombs is that they aren’t just about the visual; this particular one has lavender to help calm your mind.

The Body Shop Vanilla Marshmallow Bath Bomb, $2.00

Vanilla is a classic scent and at just $2.00 apiece, this is great for the girl on a budget. Subtle yet feminine, this cute little owl is sure to help you relax!

Bath Bombs with Toys!, Prices Vary

If you want to be really extra, you can find a ton of sets with different fun characters to play with.

Bubble Bath

 Lush Reuseable Bubble Bar, $7.95

Lush is my favorite bath product company and it shows. Their products are never tested on animals, are 100% safe for humans, and they’re just so creative and fun! The reusable bubble bars make me feel like a grown woman when I take a bath and cool because hey, I’m from Austin and everything is a lot cooler here.

Hula Girl Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath, $18.00

Philosophy is one of those fantastic brands that you often see in a Christmas gift set that you might dismiss but is so versatile and delicious smelling that I highly recommend you rethink regifting it! Hula Girl is a fun summer scent, but everything they make is outstanding.

Mr. Bubble Bubble Bath, $3.72

Laugh if you must, but there’s something to be said for the original! Mr. Bubble has been around for years and it never hurts to hit up a throwback from our childhood. If nothing else, you’ll laugh and think back to those awesome Disney Channel shows, coloring books, and just much simpler times!

Just for Fun

Shower Drink Holder, $11.99

I don’t think I need to explain this one, but also be careful if you decide to indulge in an adult beverage in the shower. It also works for water, Gatorade, soda, etc!

Waterproof Note Pad, $9.00

Look, as relaxing as baths are, sometimes you just can’t turn your brain off. Rather than spin in circles, write it out on this waterproof notepad and get your thoughts out!

Waterproof E-Reader Holder, $10.99

So you can choose to read your e-books or watch a movie or play a game while you take a bath. I am TERRIBLE at just laying back and letting my mind wander. However, a good book, Friends rerun, or game break helps me to step back and put the stress aside. Now I don’t have to stress that I’m going to mess up my device (PS – Also fantastic for tubing!).

I hope you enjoyed this article and that your bath game is improved as a result!
