Relationship Status: Single
If you’re currently a senior, graduation, escaping tedious busywork and landing that “perfect” J-O-B are the only things on your mind lately—oh, and, maybe scouting out a few dates before then. It may not seem like it now but commencement is right around the corner, and while you’re preparing yourself for the next chapter in your hectic, unpredictable life, you may catch a glimpse of this intelligent cutie doing just the same.
Jennifer Jenkins, a Lewisville native and senior here at UT, offers the full package for all those single dudes out there looking for an independent and accomplished woman. Although she’s rather fierce and straightforward, her family-oriented morals and her athleticism will keep any suitor on their toes. But, before you eager men go searching campus for this cutie, it’d be helpful to know a few things about her.

HCTX: You’re graduating this year, so what are your aspirations this summer and beyond, after you walk the stage?
JJ: This summer, I’m hoping to have a small break before I have to go work full time. I just can’t wait for the next chapter in my life and to see where my life takes me.

HCTX: What qualities in a man do you respect and dislike the most?
JJ: I really like a guy who is confident in himself, but he also has to be kind, genuine, and someone who can make me laugh. However, as much as I like confidence, there is a fine line between confidence and arrogance. Don’t cross that line. It’s not cute.

HCTX: What’s your idea of the perfect date?
JJ: My idea of a perfect date…I don’t know! There are so many things you could do and it all depends on the person that you’re with. Just surprise me!

HCTX: Who is your role model and why?
JJ: My mom is, because she is just such an amazing individual who has made a great, little life for herself. I can always count on her to give me the best advice and know that she will always have my back, no matter the situation.

HCTX: What extracurricular activities and student organizations are you involved in?
JJ: I am a part of the University of Texas at Austin Women’s Club Soccer team, as well as the spirit group Forever Texas.

HCTX: What is your biggest pet peeve?
JJ: I’m not a big fan of hypocrites. It really gets on my nerves. Just own it, whatever it is.
