Alright, hot girl summer is officially over and sad girl autumn has come to take her place. What is more necessary to prepare for this season than a list of songs by the sad girl autumn leader herself- Taylor Swift. Whether you are on your way to class, wanting to spend some time outside, or taking an evening drive, these songs should get you in the perfect mood to live your Taylor Swift fantasy.

1.”All Too Well (10 Minute Version)”

Obviously, this would not even be a sad girl autumn list without this song. It is probably the most beautiful, emotional, and iconic song Ms. Swift has gifted us within the last year. It is the perfect song to daydream to and pretend you are fighting with Dylan O’Brien in your kitchen.

2. “cardigan – cabin in candlelight version”

One of the most unsung heroes in the Folklore era. In my opinion, this is the best rendition of this song and is highly underrated.

3. “Sad Beautiful Tragic (Taylor’s Version)”

This song was one of my favorites when Red first came out, and low and behold, it was even better the second time around. The bridge of this song is so impactful and beautifully written that I probably will never stop thinking about it.

4. “cowboy like me”

Honestly, this song makes me want to just lay in a field and forget all my problems. It is again a lyrical masterpiece and way too underrated. This way literally one of my most-played songs when evermore first came out.

5. “It’s Nice To Have A Friend”

Ok, I hear no one talking about this song and it honestly hurts my soul. It’s one of my favorites from the Lover album and feels like a big, warm hug. It reminds me of being a kid again and perfectly fills you with emotions that sad girl autumn is all about.
