2 . The Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin was placed on lockdown Thursday after police shot and injured an armed man wanted on a felony warrant. The man was seen holding a child in the intensive care unit before pulling a gun and bolting down the hospital hall.

3. China has amended its one-child policy, established in 1980, to allow parents who are only children to have a second baby. This policy changes comes with a Communist party reform package that has changed other controversial laws.

5. San Francisco converted into Gotham City on Friday as part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation effort to allow a 5-year-old boy named Miles with leukemia the opportunity to be Batman for a day! The day consisted of crime fighting, damsel saving and, to conclude, an ever important thank-you meeting with the mayor and police chief!
