Now, looks and style aren’t everything but in reality they are everything. I know it’s easy to slip into the winter blues but lets keep them in the closet this year, and be happy all year round. When you look good, you feel good, so let’s keep the positive vibes flowing this winter.
HOT – Puffy Jackets
Puffy coats are in this season, and it doesn’t matter if you grab the oversized ones or the cropped ones. The cropped jackets go with any skinny jeans or tights. You can show off your booty in the winter and still be warm. Don’t worry if your team little booty, little booties matter too! Rihanna even released a line of Puma fenty crop bubble coats. If Rihanna says they’re in, then they’re in.
The oversized jacket can be paired with just about anything and you can remain comfortable and cute. So throw on your oversized puffer, grab them plain tights and chunky sneaks, and call it a day. Hey, hoops are back in too, and everyone knows hoops make any outfit. Rihanna was caught wearing the oversized puffer, so that’s how you know, either one will work.
NOT – Bomber Jackets
I’m not saying start burning all your bombers but they are not the most fashionable clothing items anymore. Bombers were so last season, we’re on the cropped puffer wave now. Once in a while you can throw on your bomber with those adidas tights, cute sneakers, hoops and your hair up. Although we’re trying to stand out not fit in.
HOT – Uggs
Are Uggs ever going to go out of style ? NO. I mean seriously, you can wear them with your comfortable clothes or you can dress them up completely. If you have uggs, then cherish them dearly because they are one of the most valuable items in your closet. Uggs are house slippers and fashion boots. Rihanna is caught wearing them in two different ways. She seems to gravitate more towards the comfy look when she wears her uggs.
NOT – Timbs
At one point it was all the rage for girls to wear timbs, especially the black ones. Let’s leave them in 2018 ladies. I’m all for Timbs don’t get me wrong, but we’re keeping up with fashion trends here. If you really want to wear Timbs, then grab a pink or blue pair. Timbs are just too plain and remember, our goal is to stand out, not fit in!
