What to Expect From This Year’s Owlchella Artists

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Temple chapter.

If you’ve gone to Owlchella in the past, you’re aware that you never know exactly what you’re gonna get.

One moment you’re getting #hype to see Young Thug and the next you hear that he never showed up to perform.

However, I have hope for this spring’s Owlchella. If you’re considering attending but aren’t familiar with this year’s artists, I created a list of songs that you’ll need to know the lyrics to ASAP:

Tory Lanez

With the release of his 2018 album “Love me Now,” there will be plenty songs to expect from Tory Lanez.

Here are some of his most popular songs that you should prepare to hear if attending Owlchella:

1. “Say It” of the “I Told You So” album

2. “Ferris Wheel” featuring Trippie Redd off the “Love Me Now” album

3. “Luv” from the “I Told You So” album

Rich The Kid

Rich The Kid recently dropped his sequel album, “The World is Yours 2,” with a bunch of hits that I’d personally be disappointed if he didn’t perform.

Owlchella guests can certainly look forward to these songs:

1. “Plug Walk” from “The World Is Yours”

2. “Splashin” from “The World is Yours 2”

3. “Fall Threw” featuring Young Thug and Gunna

Last year there was drama surrounding Philly native, Lil Uzi Vert and Rich the Kid.

Uzi even confronted Rich on our very own South Street in Philly. I’m interested to see what the reaction will be from the crowd from this incident, given that Philadelphia fans tend to stay loyal to our Philly-bred stars.

Jacquees

The lesser known, Jacquees, will still be a name you should remember during the event.

Even though his songs are not as popular as Tory Lanez or Rich The Kid, Jacquees still has some great songs worth hearing, such as:

1. “B.E.D” from his “4275” album

2. “At the Club” (single)

3. “You” from his “Lost at Sea 2”

Personally, I think that this year’s Owlchella appears promising, and after reading this article, I hope you all can agree.

With tickets selling fast, I hope you buy yours as soon as possible and prepare with all of these songs. Owlchella is less than two weeks away, so you better get listening.
