When I first started college I didn’t realize all of the awesome perks there are to being a student. Here are just a few examples of places college students can easily get discounts. The lists goes on beyond this, so I definitely suggest looking into most brands, places, and events before making your final purchase and always carrying your ID with you!

Popular Brands:

Here are some of my favorite popular brand student discounts!

  1. Apple Music – verification required 

  2. Spotify +Hulu +Showtime less than $5 a month 

  3. AMC Movie – a discount on select movies when you show your ID.

  4. Amazon Prime Student- first 6 months free then less than $10 a month. 

  5. Car Insurance- many brands such as State Farm and Progressive offer discounts for good grades!

Philadelphia & Surrounding Areas:

Philadelphia and surrounding areas offer tons of discounts. Most museums have special prices for students. Here are a few examples:

  1. African American Museum- $10 admissions with ID

  2. Kimmel Center for Performing Arts- $10 for select tickets 

  3. Philadelphia Magic Gardens- $2 off

  4. Sumer Fest Blue Cross- Free Skating w ID

  5. Philadelphia Flyers- student tickets when available.  

  6. Longwood Gardens- $20 general admission with a valid ID 

  7. Every Wednesday, 8-11 p.m., at Topgolf is College Night! 

  8. Wonder spaces- $4 off

  9. Eastern State Penitentiary (2027 Fairmount Ave.): $10 tickets

  10. Philadelphia Museum of Art $14 student tickets

Fast Food Restaurants:

Fast food discounts because sometimes that’s all you have time for. 

  1. Chick-Fil-A- 10% off with student ID

  2. Buffalo Wild Wings- 10% off

  3. Dairy Queen- 10% off

  4. Dunkin Donuts- 10% off

  5. Taco Bell- 10 % off.
