Tom Charles – Temple ’11

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Temple chapter.

Tom Charles is the answer. Don’t believe me? Just refer to his YouTube videos. Don’t let his boyish looks fool you; this Northeast Philly native is a killer hip-hop artist and entrepreneur. In fact, I met him in the Entrepreneurial Student Association when I saw his video on YouTube. He was drinking his coffee black, no sugar…like a real man, and he looked like he didn’t have a care in the world. I knew he was a campus cutie right off the bat. The ambitious virtuoso is currently hard at work trying to launch his own business, all while performing around the Philadelphia area and at local parties at Temple….oh, and trying to graduate college. Hint: if you want to meet him, request for him and his team of artists to play one of your parties. You’ll quickly find out that there’s more to our cutie than his sleepy deep-blue eyes and dreamy dimples.

Alyssa is a Journalism student at Temple University. She began her college career at WVU, but transferred schools when her itch for the city life became too unbearable. She grew up in a suburb 10 minutes outside Philadelphia, and envisions moving to Boston, NYC, or CC Philadelphia some day soon. Her ideal job involves working for a glossy and traveling the globe. She's a certified GLEEk, would rather wear heels than flats, has an addiction to Joe's Jeans, and is a closet book nerd.
