The 68th Grammy Awards are underway, and nominations have been announced leading to excitement of which artists will take home a Grammy in each category. While the 68th Grammy Awards will be happening on Sunday Feb. 1, 2026, in Los Angelas at the Crypto.com Arena, it has not yet been announced who will be hosting or the presenters at this exact moment. From hip-hop to pop, the line-up is bold and competitive, but here’s all there is to know about the upcoming Grammys.

Nominations

This year was jam-packed and filled with amazing music from a variety of artists and genres. This past year felt like every month there would be a new release, and because of this, each Grammy category is filled with a mixture of artists and different vibes.

My Opinions and Stand Outs

While there are still more categories that I didn’t fully list out, the few that I did mention showcase how stacked and competitive the Grammys this year will be. Every artist and album that was nominated makes perfect sense to me honestly. For example, “Apt” by Rosé and Bruno Mars and “Abracadabra” by Lady Gaga were trending on TikTok for months before being nominated.

“The Subway” by Chappell Roan and “Anxiety” by Doechii both had fans begging for a studio version of each song, which they were given and delighted with, causing both songs to be hits.

But what stands out for me personally are the nominations that Bad Bunny and Kendrick Lamar have been given. Both artists have had an amazing couple of years, and this year has been no different for them.

Bad Bunny released Debí Tirar Más Fotos which was dedicated to his Puerto Rican heritage and contains themes of gentrification, loss, and pride. Lamar released GMX, which came after his famous rivalry with Drake and talks about his standing in the hip-hop genre and the industry. Both albums are filled with songs that are unique, catchy, and full of lyricism.

I believe that these two artists will be the talk of the night during the Grammys. Both have huge fan bases and people that genuinely respect the work they do. Bad Bunny and Kendrick Lamar have music that is able to deeply connect with people and spark important conversations. They both bring something special to the table, and it will be interesting to see which artist and album of theirs will stand out during Grammy night.

Only Grammy Night Will Tell

The 68th Grammy Awards are going to be one for the books! With viral hits to deeply emotional songs, this year’s Grammys captures the heart of what makes music so special and universal. No matter who takes home a Grammy, each artist and album is recognized for talent and hard work.
