There will be five stages and a variety of artists, with usually over 500,000 fans attending. Artists include Alex Dixon, Sugar Blue, Paul Oscher, and Billy Branch and the Sons of Blues. If you’re into country music: New York is the place to be from June 26-June 28. Farmborough Fest’s lineup includes Ashley Monroe, Brandy Clark, Brothers Osborne, Raelynn, The Cadillac Three, and more. These tickets will run you $225. To learn more, the official website is farmboroughfestival.com
Firefly Music Festival is coming to Dover, Delaware from June 18-June 21.  This festival offers three days of musical entertainment from the likes of Charli XCX, Zedd, Bastille, Snoop Dogg, Kid Cudi, and more. The tickets are a steep $300, but you’ll get to see a ton of artists, enjoy great food, and enjoy the beautiful wooded atmosphere. Camping is also available. Essence Fest prides itself on being a "premiere music and cultural festival.” Since 1993, music lovers, particularly from the African American community have gathered in New Orleans to celebrate the mix of entertainment and culture. Each year, there is a long list of performers. This year that list includes Common, Kendrick Lamar, Elle Varner, Slick Rick, and Mary J. Blige, among several other artists. Ticket costs are $130.50. New Orleans is about to be even hotter this summer. Visit essence.com/festival for more details.
After a long semester, kick back, relax, and enjoy some great music from some of your favorite artists. Get your tickets before they’re gone!
