The photo was taken around 8:50pm 11/14/2011 outside of Johnson and Hardwick, depicting the
aftermath of a pursuit that occurred down broad st. According to a seg-way cop “There was a car chase, multiple pursuits and an officer was hit.”
Shortly after speaking to me, the officer speed away due to a second pursuit occurring a short distance away. Later it was reported by NBC that the whole incident was a narcotics bust gone wrong ending in an officer being hit by A COP CAR whilst pursuing two suspects on foot. The officer suffered a small injury of a broken finger and the two suspects were apprehended.
