A Playlist Perfect For Fall

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Temple chapter.

It may have taken a while, but fall is finally here! It’s time to put away the bathing suits and shorts and take out your jackets, scarves and boots.

Along with clothes, another fall necessity is music. I’ve thrown together some songs that I love to listen to in the Fall, from throwbacks to new releases.

1. “Emotion” by Astrid S

Up and coming artist, Astrid S, released her single “Emotion” in early October. The pop singer originates from Norway.

2. “Sweater Weather” by The Neighbourhood

A fall classic. In 2015, The Neighbourhood blessed us with the song “Sweater Weather.”

 3. “Side Effects” by The Chainsmokers feat. Emily Warren

The music video for “Side Effects” features Riverdale star, Camila Mendes. It is an upbeat pop song perfect for a run in the cool weather.

4. “Particular Taste” by Shawn Mendes

Pop sensation Shawn Mendes released his self-titled album earlier in the year and it featured the song “Particular Taste.”

5. “These Days” by Wallows

The group Wallows consists of Dylan Braeden Lemasters, Cole Preston, and Dylan Minnette. (You may know Dylan as ‘Clay’ from the Netflix Original Series, “13 Reasons Why”)

6. “1999” by Charli XCX featuring Troye Sivan

Charli XCX and Troye Sivan bring us back to the year 1999 with this new single. The music video features the duo in iconic 90’s music videos, movies, and TV commercials.

7. “Here” by Alessia Cara

In 2015, Alessia Cara made her debut with her first single, “Here.”

 8. “Woman Like Me” by Little Mix feat. Nicki Minaj

The girls in Little Mix; Jesy, Jade, Perrie, and Leigh Anne, have released their first single off their brand-new album “LM5,” “Woman Like Me” featuring Nicki Minaj.

9. “I Like Me Better” by Lauv

A song that is perfect for any occasion: studying, working out, and dancing.

10. “The Tide” by Niall Horan

One Direction alum Niall Horan released his first solo album, “Flicker,” in late 2017. With the album, he released “The Tide,” which gives off a chill Autumn vibe.

There are too many songs that I can choose from that are perfect for Fall, so, I made a Spotify playlist including some of my favorite new songs plus many fall favorites. Enjoy! Happy Fall!
