Meet Our Bachelors: Ryan Rinaldi

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Temple chapter.

This semester, Her Campus Temple is teaming up with Alpha Xi Delta to host a date auction. We’ve done it in the past, but this year is different. Temple hottest bachelors, including fraternity men, athletes and Owl Team leaders are up for a date with the highest bidders. Until the auction starts, we’re going to be giving you brief profiles on each of the contestants, so you can get to know more about them.

All of the money raised will go directly to Autism Speaks, Alpha Xi Delta’s national philanthropy!

Name: Ryan Kenneth Rinaldi
Age: 22
Major: Finance
Year: Senior

Why should someone bid on you in the Win-a-Date Auction? I’m a fun guy. I might throw out corny jokes and when you ask me how my day was, my answer may be the most boring answer some days, but realistically I can be the life of the party. I’ll also treat her like a princess..

Describe your ideal dream date if you HAD to stay on Temple’s campus: If I had to stay on campus, the dream date wouldn’t be to go to Richies, because he’d probably say something hilariously awkward and kill my vibe. I’d say that my “ideal dream date” would be to meet her at the steps of Sullivan Hall on Polett Walk. It’s my favorite building on campus and in my opinion the most beautiful. We’d walk through campus and pick up food at the crepe truck. Then we’d walk over to Starbucks and sit at one of the tables in the back and have lunch with some coffee. I’m aware of how busy that place gets, but I like it and  I think there’s a way to make the person you’re with feel like their the only person in the room there. I met most of my TSG teammates for the first time in the busy coffee shop when I was building my FutureTU campaign team, met some of my best friends there. Round the date out by walking her where she’s going. She shouldn’t have to walk alone.

What was the worst date you have ever been on? I met a girl for coffee once. Her ex-boyfriend got word that she was meeting me and followed her to the coffee shop to confront me. He told me he voted for me (only funny part of the story, the rest was super awkward) but that his “girl” was off limits to a guy like me, whatever that means.. By the time I finally got him to walk away, the whole thing was ruined. Best part was that she texted me after telling me it was a “great” time.. I haven’t talked to her since.
