Have you ever noticed sometimes your energy is low? Or maybe you seem more tired than usual?

There are many food choices that cause our energy to lower while some help us regain and be energized and there is a wide range of foods to choose from.

We all know exercising and staying hydrated are two important ways to keep our minds productive, but what foods or drinks can help give us an extra boost?

  1. Coffee

As we all know caffeine promotes the production of dopamine, a chemical in the brain that helps to boost your mood. By enhancing your mood, it gives you to think more and resist certain impulses.

  1. Fruits

A single banana is packed with the daily amount of glucose needed in order to stay productive. Blueberries are packed with antioxidants and are linked to enhancing cognitive ability. Strawberries are filled with fisetin, a flavonoid that helps to promote signaling pathways in the brain to help with memory function. Having two or more servings of strawberries can lead to better long-term memory.

  1. Greens

Consuming spinach helps the brain stay strong, improving learning capacity and motor skills. Kale of course is great for increasing your calcium and manganese intake, it also increases concentration and brain function.

  1. Salmon

Salmon is a great source of omega-3 fatty acids, which is useful for improving memory or mental performance.

No matter which you choose, it’s important for our brains to remain energized and productive throughout the day.
