If you do not where to begin with your fall wardrobe, here are some upcoming trends to help you find some inspiration.

Fall just might be the peak of fashion, as it is a time where you can start transitioning to long pants and long sleeve tops without feeling hot or too cold. Despite it still being quite hot out, stores are starting to stock their fall clothes and influencers are starting to set some fall trends. Apps such as Tik Tok and Instagram are the main sources for creating trends, and many clothing stores have began to sell clothes that cater towards the up and coming trends.

One of the main things that will be seen this fall is layering. This trend started gaining traction last winter, and I doubt it is going to go away anytime soon. Some of the main things that will be seen getting layered are accessories, jackets/shirts, and tights. Although those do seem like basic pieces, they have the potential to elevate an outfit. On the topic of jackets— oversized bomber jackets, shackets and denim jackets are going to be a staple this fall. Stores such as Cotton On, H&M and Urban Outfitters already carry these pieces in their stores. Skirts and dress pants are also sold heavily in stores right now, since they can be styled for warmer and colder weather. These stores carry lots of greens, blues and oranges, which shows that color is going to be seen alot in the earlier part of the season. The later the season, the darker the colors, so as we get into mid-fall we’ll start seeing maroons, navy blue and forest green, and more neutral colors as well. One thing that is going to carry through the entire season is black boots. There are many different variations and styles of black boots, and they can be styled up or down. Loafers are going to be a trendy piece for this season, and Tik Tok has already proven it. These shoes are primarily used with a dressed up outfit, but many people are starting to find ways to dress them down.

Now its time to start saving up and heading to the stores to start preparing for fall fashion. Many trends from this fall will become closet staples that can be used year round. Of course, just because something is trending does not mean that you are unstylish, but seeing what is up and coming is the most exciting part about the changing seasons.
