Campus Celeb: Zahara Hill

We sat down with incoming senior and HCTU member Zahara Hill to see what she’s up to this year!

What’s your HC position this year? Managing Editor and Content Manager

What’s your dream situation in ten years time? In ten years, I’d like to be working as a senior editor at a women’s magazine and be on the board of directors at a nonprofit organization and be able to call a Brooklyn brownstone, my home.

What’s your ideal day in Philadelphia? Getting together with all of my friends, walking along the Schuylkill River Trail and venturing to Olde City.

Do you have any female figure that you look up to? A role model? Yes, I have to name multiple. My mom, my sister, Jaimee Swift, Issa Rae, Toni Morrison and Maya Angelou.

If you won the lottery, what would you do with the money? Nonprofits.

What’s the last song you listened to? “Pilot Jones” by Frank Ocean

What’s one goal you have for this school year? To get as close as possible to having my life together.

Savannah is a graduate of Temple University, now pursuing her lifelong dream of living in NYC. She enjoys perusing second-hand books stores, staring at the work of Egon Schiele, and listening to Keith Richards shred his electric guitar.
Kaitlin is an alumna of Temple University where she graduated with a B.A. in Journalism and a minor in Political Science. At Temple, she served as Campus Correspondent for Her Campus Temple and was a founding member and former Public Relations Vice President for the Iota Chi chapter of Alpha Xi Delta.  She currently serves Her Campus Media as a Region Leader and Chapter Advisor and was formally a Feature Writer for Fashion, Beauty and Health.
