12 Concerts Coming to Philly This Summer

Concerts are an outlet for many people to escape their everyday lives and watch their favorite artists perform live. Sure, you can listen to your favorite artist on your phone at any time, but there is something about being in a room with other people who like the same music as you all singing along to the same artist that is indescribable.

Being such a big city, Philadelphia is home to many great concert venues, from small bars to huge stadiums, which draw in some of the most popular artists. Since spring is here, it’s the perfect time to venture out with your friends and listen to live music…and plan for summer!

There are so many exciting concerts coming to Philadelphia in the coming months, so grab your friends, your wallet, and your excitement and head to one of these awesome shows.

1. P!nk- April 13, Wells Fargo Center

You’re in for a treat if you buy tickets to the Beautiful Trauma World Tour. P!nk does aerial acts, sings old and new songs, and always delivers an unforgettable performance.

2. Andy Grammer- April 15, Theater of the Living Arts (TLA)

The “Honey, I’m Good” singer is touring North America on The Good Parts tour starting this spring. Tickets are only $30.

3. Echosmith- April 27, TLA

Every ticket purchased for this tour includes either a physical or digital copy of Echosmith’s upcoming album, Inside a Dream.

4. Bon Jovi- May 3, Wells Fargo Center


Coming to Philly for the second time on the This House is Not For Sale Tour, Bon Jovi is sure to rock the house!

5. Justin Timberlake- June 2 and December 17, Wells Fargo Center


The Prince of Pop is embarking on the Man of the Woods tour and is bringing the outside in to the Wells Fargo Center. With the June 2nd show nearly sold out, now is the time to buy your tickets.

6. The Wonder Years- June 8 and 9, The Fillmore


For pop-punk fans, The Wonder Years are playing two shows in Philly, with the first night already sold out. Get your tickets to the second show before it’s too late.

7. Kenny Chesney- June 9, Lincoln Financial Field

Before you head over to see The Wonder Years, stop and enjoy some country music at the Linc. Chesney’s concert starts at 5p.m.

8. Aly & AJ- June 12, The Fillmore

After ten years, Aly & AJ are finally back with new music. The “Take Me Out” singers released an EP last year and are touring again. The Disney Channel alums now have a new sound. Tickets are only $20.

9. Harry Styles- June 14, Wells Fargo Center and June 15, Hershey Park Stadium

The “Sign of the Times” singer will be back in Philly in just two months. This time, he’s taking on a bigger stadium and reaching more fans. With different outfits every night, Styles puts on a show you can’t miss.

10. Taylor Swift- July 13 and 14, Lincoln Financial Field

Are you Ready for it? Starting May 8th, Swift will be back in the city kicking off her Reputation Stadium tour. Don’t forget to buy tickets this summer and wear your best costumes.

11. Billy Joel- July 27, Citizens Bank Park

The Piano Man returns to Philly for his fifth consecutive summer. Appealing to all ages, Joel performs his classics for the whole baseball stadium to enjoy.

12. Beyonce & Jay-Z- July 30, Lincoln Financial Field

The power couple is On the Road again to deliver a show-stopping night you for sure don’t want to miss!

 

Whether it’s a country singer, a punk-rock act, pop legends, or Queen Bey and her husband, these next few months are sure to please music lovers of all genres.
