10 New Christmas Albums To Check Out

It’s that time of year again.

Christmas decorations are popping up all over the place and Santa is coming to malls across the country. This means that Christmas music will begin flooding stores and radio stations. This year, there are several new Christmas albums out, ranging from classic rock to hip hop and beyond.

Here are the top 10 newly released Christmas albums that are worth the listen:

1. Everyday is Christmas by Sia

Sia’s Christmas album was released on November 17th. It consists of 10 songs, including upbeat pop tracks as well as ballads. All of the songs are originals co-written by Sia and Greg Kurstin.

2. Christmas After Midnight by Fantasia Barrino

Fantasia’s Christmas After Midnight was released on October 6th. The album has 12 songs, including classics such as “This Christmas” and “Hallelujah.” She put her own twist on all of the songs on the album.

3. From Spirits and Ghosts (Score for a Dark Christmas) by Tarja Turunen

Tarja’s Christmas album, released on November 17th, gives a dark spin on Christmas classics such as “Deck the Halls” and “We Wish You A Merry Christmas.” The album is haunting, yet beautiful.

4. Christmas Together by The Tenors

The Tenors released Christmas Together on October 13th. The album, which includes “O Come All Ye Faithful” and “The Little Drummer Boy,” emphasizes the group’s beautiful voices, as well as stunning harmonies.

5. Warmer in the Winter by Lindsey Stirling

Lindsey Stirling’s Warmer in the Winter was released on October 20th. The album has classics such as “Carol of the Bells” and “I Saw Three Ships,” as well as some upbeat pop songs. Many of the songs are instrumentals with Stirling playing violin, and some include vocal guests like Sabrina Carpenter, Becky G, Trombone Shorty, and Alex Gaskarth.

8. My Kind of Christmas by Reba McEntire

Reba adds a country flare to Christmas classics with My Kind of Christmas, which was released on October 13th. The album consists of Christmas hits and collaborations with Darius Rucker, Vince Gill and Amy Grant, Lauren Daigle, and Kelly Clarkson and Trisha Yearwood.

9. Twelve Tales of Christmas by Tom Chaplin

Tom Chaplin’s Twelve Tales of Christmas is just that – an album of twelve songs that tell a different aspect of the holiday season. It’s a calm and peaceful album that is more mellow than many of the other Christmas albums that were released this year.

10. You Make It Feel Like Christmas by Gwen Stefani

Gwen Stefani’s album was released on October 6th. It consists of well-known Christmas classics, as well as some new material, including a duet with Blake Shelton. The album is mostly upbeat and fun, sure to be a Christmas classic.
