Want to Shop Til’ You Drop? Here Are the Best Boutiques in Fort Worth

The opinions expressed in this article are the writer’s own and do not reflect the views of Her Campus.
This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at TCU chapter.

As a shopaholic who has an overflowing closet of clothes, I know the ins and outs when it comes to finding the best places to shop. Coming to Fort Worth from out of state and having previously worked at a boutique back home (shoutout to The Shops at 5807), one of the first things I noticed was the Fort Worth shopping scene. If you are anything like me and are in desperate need of a shopping trip, whether it be for spring break or retail therapy, you should check out the five best boutiques in Fort Worth!

the impeccable pig

The Impeccable Pig has all you could ever want in a boutique. Located in University Park Village, it is such a quick and easy drive from campus. Selling clothes, shoes, jewelry, hats, and purses, it truly is a one-stop shop. They also tend to have great sales; their online warehouse sale is particularly amazing. I am not even kidding when I tell you that the deals from this sale were the best deals I have ever seen. I bought a dress that was originally $150 for $18 and shoes that were originally $120 for $20! Sign me up!

apricot lane

If you need anything TCU-related for game day, Apricot Lane is definitely the place for you. From tops to bottoms, they have the best variety of purple clothes. They even have TCU wallets, bag straps, and earrings to show off your horned frog spirit! Every time I go to Apricot Lane, I always end up finding something. I feel like I own half the store! Located in The Shops at Clearfork, it is only about a 10-minute drive from campus.

hale house

Hale House is located near many other boutiques on Camp Bowie; it is full of bright colors. Many of their clothing items are one of a kind. They sell popular brands such as Queen of Sparkles and BuddyLove (my personal favorite). Hale House is also a one-stop shop offering everything from clothes to shoes. They even sell home decor and cute gifts. I don’t know about you, but I love finding unique clothes that nobody else owns. It’s always fun to express yourself through what you wear!

Esther Penn

If you are looking for more of an It Girl style, Esther Penn might just be the place for you. Located on West 7th Street, it is about a 10-minute drive from campus. They sell clothes that are perfect for going out on the town (if you know what I mean). There is also a space dedicated to their sales section where you can find great deals. On another note, they sell the cutest handbags. If you know me, you know that I am a purse girl. On one of my many shopping sprees, I found the cutest metallic silver purse. Immediately, I knew that I had to buy it. Every time I go out on the town, I do not leave without my metallic silver purse!

American threads

Have you ever scrambled to find a last-minute formal dress at an affordable price? Well, I have. Thinking quickly on the fly, I went to American Threads (located in University Park Village) and found the perfect navy blue ruched bodycon dress. American Threads is the perfect place to find clothing that will meet all of your needs. From going-out tops to basics, they have every color, style, and type of clothing imaginable. No matter what your style is, they have something for you!

Despite only writing about five boutiques in Fort Worth, there are so many others spread throughout the town. I hope you can get your shop on and find cute, unique items to add to your wardrobe!
