Q: What has been your favorite memory at TCU so far?

A: “During the ‘Icepocalypse’ my sophomore year, the hill behind the SigEp house was frozen over. One of my buddies had a surfboard without the tailfin, so we took it out there and ‘surfed’ the snow in shorts and t-shirts. One of the most spontaneous and fun moments I’ve had here.”

Q: What sort of things do you do for fun?

A: “I’m a huge sports fan, and while I’m not that great at them, I love to play the different IMs [intramurals] we have at TCU. Also, running has been a huge part of my life, and, even though it’s weird to say it, I love running and getting time to relax and think outside.”

Q: How does it feel to be in the final five contenders for Mr. TCU?

A: “It’s such an incredible honor to be even mentioned for Mr. TCU. The other men and women are such amazing people and all of them are excellent examples of what it means to be Mr./Mrs. TCU. This University has given me so much and I love the opportunity to give back a little by representing TCU through this nomination.”

Q: What is something not many people know about you?

A: “I’d say all of my friends know this, but I’m a total goofball at heart. I’ve always felt that the one thing you should never do in life is take yourself too seriously, so if you catch me around campus doing something weird or strange, don’t be surprised.”

Q: Any advice for underclassmen?

A: “My biggest piece of advice is to enjoy every moment that you have at this school. These past few years have blown by, but I’m lucky enough to have made incredible friends and memories that I will hold on to for the rest of my life. So dive in and pour your heart out to the people and culture of this school, and I promise you’ll get so much more out of it then you could have ever imagined.”
