The last two years of TCU football have been years full of some pretty high highs. However, those high, exciting moments did not come without many, many stressful moments. If you follow TCU football closely, it’s likely you have gained approximately twenty-five years on your life. Ten of those years alone can be directly attributed to Baylor and another ten were most likely added this past weekend when the mighty Horned Frogs fell to the Arkansas Razorbacks. Words cannot express the feelings felt during the game, but here is an attempt to sum up the emotions of that fateful day.

It’s game day. Let the tailgating begin.

Panic settles in as you realized game time was approaching and you might not get a seat in the student section.

You win yourself a seat, but there is still an hour until kick off and the sun is beating down brutally. When anyone asks how you are, you have only one response.

It’s finally time for kickoff, and you could not be more excited. Nothing is better than TCU football.

But then Arkansas scores a field goal. And another. Of course, you still had hope.

“Get your shit together, Kenny,” you yell as he throws a pick-six.

At halftime, you say a little prayer. And your prayer pays off, when TCU scores on their first drive of the second half.

Arkansas scores again, and you are begging the boys to keep it together.

Next thing you know, TCU is up 21-20. You knew we were called “Texas Comeback University” for a reason.

It is 28-21 with only two minutes left in the game, and you are feeling pretty good.

And then Arkansas scores with only a minute left in the game.

And converts the two-point conversion to the tie the game.

We make it through the first overtime.

But not the second.

You aren’t really sure what happened and you don’t know what you are feeling.

But at the end of the day, you know, and will always know, one thing to be true: life as a TCU Horned Frog is way better than life as an Arkansas Razorback. So who are the real winners?
